REVIEW: COSRX Centella Blemish Cream

As a person who suffers from acne, I find it best to keep an effective spot treatment around. After going through a lot of drugstore products, I soon came across the Korean cult favorite brand COSRX, which is especially known for their acne targeting products. One of the products I heard about the most and ended up purchasing was the COSRX Centella Blemish Cream. The cream claims to help soothe, heal blemishes and acne scarring quickly.

Ingredients

Approximately 51% of Centella water is used instead of purified water in this cream. The ingredient is extracted from the Centella asiatica herb, which is traditionally used to treat damaged skin, and is proven to speed the process of healing and to fade scars. Since the herb is antibacterial and contains wound-healing properties, it is perfect for those who are suffering from acne and/or acne scars, and even for sensitive skin.

Texture

The texture is very soft and creamy. However, it did not leave a greasy feeling on my skin and isn't heavy at all when used like a moisturizer on my whole face.

Results

This product has done absolutely amazing things to my skin after just one day of using it. When I woke up the next morning, my cystic acne completely deflated. I saw results in just one night! My skin also felt extremely smooth and soft, and the acne on my face disappeared and completely cleared up. This product is more effective than all my prescription acne treatments which only managed to dry out my skin. This Centella cream is also able to moisturize my skin and soothe any redness or irritation.
