REVIEW: COSRX Holy Moly Snail Mask

Everyone’s favourite snail mucin can now be found in the form of sheet masks, thanks to COSRX Holy Moly Snail Mask! In the competitive Korean sheet mask arena, can this sheet mask stand out?

Ingredients

COSRX is known for comparatively short, no-frills ingredients lists. The Holy Moly Snail Mask is no exception. With no artificial fragrances or alcohol, COSRX’s distinctively clean formulations make their products perfect for sensitive or reactive skin.

The first two ingredients in this mask are red ginseng water and snail mucin, which are known for their ability to repair skin damage, deliver intense hydration, and nourish irritated skin. Added to the mix is hyaluronic acid, a well-known powerhouse ingredient for hydration.

The Mask

The sheet mask is made of 100% rayon, which wraps around the skin comfortably and stays put on your face. The smooth texture of the rayon feels super gentle and should reduce the risk of irritation on sensitive skin, which I’m guessing is one of the reasons COSRX chose to use this fabric.

Results

Straight off the bat, this COSRX Holy Moly Snail Mask is awesome! I can feel immediate, intense, and lasting moisturization. By the next morning, my skin felt firmer and look more rested and healthier. Not only was this mask capable of moisturizing my skin, it did reduce my redness and flattened a swollen pimple on my forehead. Definitely holy grail status!
