REVIEW: COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask
The COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask is one of those skin care products that I wish came in gallon jars. I love this Honey Overnight Mask so much that I use it three to four times a week, and now I’m almost licking the container clean. No, it’s not actually edible, but yes, it’s THAT good.
Ingredients
As you can tell from the ingredients list, the propolis extract is the star here. Propolis is the substance used by bees to seal honeycomb and have pretty much the same anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties as honey.
Texture
The Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask is a light and very easily spreadable golden gel. The gel imparts a cooling, soothing sensation and dries down quickly on the skin, perfect for oily skin types who wants to avoid the “heavy” feeling you get from most sleeping masks.
Results
COSRX markets this product primarily as a sleeping pack, but I’ve found it works just as nicely as a daytime moisturizer, thanks to its smooth and totally non-greasy finish. It’s almost dry by the time I go to bed, and I always wake up with soft, supple, hydrated skin.
