REVIEW: KLAIRS Rich Moist Soothing Serum

Everyone goes through a “sensitive skin” phase at least once in their life, whether due to sunburn, internal factors such as stress, or even using the wrong skin care products together. This is why I’m always on the lookout for a great soothing serum like the KLAIRS Rich Moist Soothing Serum.

Ingredients

The Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum is designed for moisturising and soothing the skin with a rich blend of organic complexes. Notable ingredients include the patented Phyto-Oligo (help with your skin’s elasticity and is key in soothing your skin as well), the classic Sodium Hyaluronate (which is an intensive moisturizing ingredient that bonds water to keep skin hydrated) and beta-Glucan (helps stimulate the production of collagen, speeds up wound healing, soothes and calms skin due to its anti-irritant and strong anti-inflammatory properties).

Texture

The texture of the serum is a gel-type, clear liquid. It feels cooling on the skin, which is why it is very suitable for irritated and heated skin. It does not leave any sticky finish, and is easily absorbed to the skin completely. The scent is fresh, but fades quickly, so it should not be a problem for people that are sensitive to scents.

Results

The Klairs serum promises to soothe and hydrate, and it definitely does that. Upon applying, there is a pleasant cooling effect to the skin. Other than overall hydration, my red spots and rosacea have reduced substantially in just a few weeks, and even my T-zone feels less oily! The serum feels like it's smoothing out the wrinkles on my forehead, and gives my skin that gorgeous glowing look. I can see this being a must-have serum for anyone with troubled or irritated skin.
