REVIEW: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a godsend for anyone like me who suffers from chronically dry and chapped lips, and has tried all lip balms in the market to no avail. Here’s why this cute pink jar can be a great addition to your skin care routine:

Ingredients

The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask uses shea butter, vitamin C and various skin-loving fruit extracts like raspberry, strawberry, and goji berry to soothe and soften lips. It also utilises a special technology called Moisture WrapTM to lock in hydration and keep lips moisturised for up to 8 hours.

Texture

The lip mask goes on colorless, and the texture is between that of a very thick moisturiser and a silky balm. You only need a tiny amount each time to cover the whole lips.

Scent

When it comes to the scent, this mask smells exactly like strawberry candy. However, the smell fades away and you'll probably not notice the scent at all unless you’re sticking your nose inside the jar.

Results

Overall, this lip mask really performs and does what it claims to do. I have been personally using this for around two months now and so far, I haven’t experienced any extreme dryness on my lips. In addition, when I apply matte lipsticks, it feels like they glide on better on my lips and does not dry it out!
