Ingredients
To nourish the skin and rebuild the moisture barrier, this Laneige sleeping mask utilizes a number of ingredients like ionized water and sodium hyaluronate. A few skin brightening ingredients like chestnut and apricot extracts are also present to rejuvenate dull-looking skin. Overall, a promising product with a solid ingredients list.
Texture
The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask has a light, gel-type texture that is not too thick nor too light. Despite it is labeled as a “water sleeping mask” it’s not watery at all, nor droopy while applying it. It absorbs fast and so easily on your skin, leaving behind no residue to stain your pillows with!
Scent
This mask has a very mild soothing smell, which reminds me of chamomile. The scent (called SLEEPSCENT™) had actually been specially developed by Amore Pacific, which is supposed to make you sleep better.
Results
After months of using the Laneige Sleeping Mask, I can finally say that this product is definitely HG-wothy. It makes my skin looks healthier, brighter and so much more moisturised without any stickiness or oiliness. The idea of a thick sleeping mask may make those prone to congested pores nervous, but this is a gel-type mask that doesn't clog pores as much as it forms a moisture barrier on top of them, pushing its hydrating agenda into your face while you sleep. Even on days when I sleep around 2-3am, this sleeping mask really helps my skin look like I had enough sleep.
