How to Prevent Wrinkles and Fine Lines
Even though we can’t fight the signs of time indefinitely, it doesn't mean that we have to give in either! Here are some things you can do now to make sure those pesky wrinkles and fine lines don't appear earlier than they should:

1. Use the right skin care products
While you cannot stop the process of ageing, you can lessen its impact on your skin by using products that stimulate cell renewal and collagen synthesis. Here are some ingredients to look for:
1. Vitamin C
We love this multitasking ingredient for its brightening and anti-wrinkle benefits for the skin! Try the Neogen Real Vita C Serum, which contains 22% Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a stabilised source of vitamin C that won't oxidise as easily as other serums.
2. Antioxidants
By using products high in antioxidants, you can help your skin defend itself against free radicals, and thus slow signs of ageing from forming. The best part is that you can find antioxidants in plenty of skin care ingredients, from cleansers all the way to moisturisers. Check out Huxley's cactus-powered skin care range, which is filled with antioxidants to nourish and protect your skin.

3. Alpha Hydroxy Acids
AHAs are not only great chemical exfoliants to clear your pores, the COSRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid can also help brighten any dark spots and keep your skin radiant and smooth.
4. Retinol/ Tretinoin
Not willing to invest in a retinol serum yet? You can dip your toes into this magical ingredient with the Dr Jart Shake and Shot Shaking Rubber Elastic Mask! The ampoule in this mask contains vitamin A (retinol) to help support natural collagen synthesis and firm the appearance of sagging skin.
5. Growth factors, such as EGF
One of our favourite anti-wrinkle serum is the Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop, which contains EGF and bFGF to help speed up the skin’s regeneration cycle, strengthen the skin’s outer barrier, while boosting the synthesis of collagen.
2. Don't over-dry your skin
Dry, damaged skin is actually more prone to developing early signs of visible ageing. So stop using any harsh, drying cleansers or over-exfoliating your skin, as this will put your skin barrier in an unhealthy state.
If you’re getting breakouts, there are gentler ways to keep your skin clear. Make sure to double cleanse daily, exfoliate only up to three times a week, or better yet, using a non-drying spot treatment like the Pyunkang Yul Acne Spot Cream can be incredibly effective to really get breakouts under control while simultaneously preventing wrinkles.
3. Watch your diet/ lifestyle
You know the drill: Quit smoking, get enough sleep, eat well, exercise frequently, use your beauty roller often, and try to avoid repetitive or exaggerated facial movements (but please never stop smiling or laughing, babe).
